Program Components

Middle School Model

  • Students in grades 6-8 support their school by mentoring teachers and their peers, creating academic content and providing level I tech support. Students engage in ongoing professional development which equips them with the skills needed to support their peers and collaborate with teachers and other school staff to increase technology integration for teaching and learning.

Mini (Middle) School Model

  • This model follows the middle school model but includes students in grades 3-5.

High School Internships

  •  STL internships, both during the academic school year and during the summer, provide students with opportunities to gain career experience while earning money and/or community service hours toward graduation requirements.  These internship experiences provide students the opportunity to hone communication, social, and 21st-century skills in a real-world work environment.
