Dear Parent/Guardian and Student,

Welcome to Living Environment, the study of living things! Throughout the semester, we will be studying about cells, genetics, body systems, and scientific processes. I’m looking forward to an exciting year of science exploration!

HOMEWORK POLICY
I believe homework is important because it is a valuable aid in helping students make the most of their experience in science. I make assignments because they reinforce what has been taught in class, prepare students for upcoming lessons, and help students develop self-discipline, responsibility, and organizational skills.

I encourage students to complete daily assignments on time. Assignments turned in on time will receive 100% of the grade earned. "On time" means when the homework is called for in class. Assignments turned in after the time when they were collected or reviewed in class will not receive credit.
