Ms. Nava Fader
Welcome! I've been a school librarian for almost 20 years. Before that, I was a public librarian, and before THAT, I was a proofreader in NYC, my hometown. I come from a literature-joyous background, earning a master's from UB in English before my master's of library science. I am a published poet and part of the vital Buffalo poetry scene. What I love: using new technology to do old things (read, connect, write, learn) and using creativity with our students. When we are in library class, we write poetry, use MakerSpace materials, upcycle Scholastic news flyers--in addition to readalouds, selecting books, and being part of a close-knit learning community. I am always available to families via email, but my official days at Olmsted are A, C, and E.
